The town open-air spa belongs among one of the architectural rarities in the region. The year 2002 saw a 70-year anniversary since its opening. Its atmosphere offers relaxation in the hottest summer months (the water, drawn from an underground rock spring, will surely refresh you even in the sultriest of weathers). The place itself provides space for various occasional cultural events. You are welcome to experience and enjoy this unchallenged atmosphere.
The town baths is open from the beginning of June to the end of August, from 10:00 till 19:00. In June during working days only from 14:00 till 19:00.
Recently, there have been released two new publications on the history of Mšeno’s unique open-air baths. Available since Feb 2005, these offer valuable information to all interested in history and architecture. The author, Jan Kilián, gives a detailed account of the foundation and use of this unique edifice, supplying both volumes with contemporary photographs and construction plans, additionally framed with the present-day snaps.
The two volumes are available at the Municipality Office and the Info Center (during season).
